Learn to Row

Take the first steps toward learning to row at regattas or for fun and fitness ... and make some great new friends!

The Argonauts run Learn to Row (LTR) programs during the year, typically from August to April.

The Argonauts LTR program is about introducing you to the wonderful sport of rowing in a supportive, friendly environment. It will instruct you in the basic skills and techniques, and give you the experience to decide if you want to further your interest in rowing. It's also a great way to meet new people and make new friends.

The LTR program consists of a weekend of rowing, followed by four weeks of training sessions on a Monday evening and Saturday morning. After you've completed the program, you'll be in an excellent position to decide if you want to continue to row.  If rowing and the Argonauts are for you, you can then join us by becoming a member.

Your accredited LTR coaches are qualified coaches and long-term members of the Argonauts. They donate their time so the proceeds of the LTR program can go towards the running costs of the club.
